Howdy Mr. Neal Braverman. Thanks so much to you for having been the mastermind for The Roslindale OpenMike! You have a heck of a partner in Mike Delaney! and with Steve Friedman supplying his time & talents to record the evening, what you have is a real good recipe for making art happen ! Thankyou cats at ROM along with King Yee for allowing me to split King`s feature. (8/27/10) You are dear to so many! We all share in the love of the Artists Community. You, the Roslindale Church (where R.O.M. makes there home) reached out to me when I had a loss. My dear condolences to you & your family for the loss of your dad. Together we must Plant & Harvest our love and bliss! Neal, Mike & The ROM contingiency, Thanks for the Co-Feature with King Yee, It was a real treat! I`m indebted to all of you for having reached out to me in my time of need along with the Artists community. I love you Mr. Neal! Keep the music playing & The Belly Laughing!

Thank you Mike and Neal for the unique experience that you create at ROM - a venue for the expression of rich, eclectic music and other performance art but more importantly a space where local developing and professional artists have the opportunity to nurture friendships and support original, collaborative and creative art. All the best and continued success.

Thanks Neal, Thank you again for your most encouraging compliments! And thanks also to you and Mike for getting and keeping ROM going. It is truly an excellent event that is put on. One cannot really even call it an "open mic" because it is always so much more than that! talk soon, Liam

As the ebb and flow of the oceans water, I will be returning back to ROM. Neal and Mike make you feel like family right away and take every opportunity to listen, support and encourage. What a wide range of talent that stepped up to the mike that magical night. I am grateful to Don White, who recommended us to come. Thank you!

Dear Neal, I really learned a lot at ROM. You guys all come together to make not only beautiful music, but also to make a beautiful community. After I graduate this spring, I am planning on moving to Boston, and I can promise I will be back at least in the spring. I might even be able to come during spring break. Please tell Arie I said thank you for supporting me, and to check my myspace music page for song updates. Thank you for hosting us, and I will definitely be seeing you in the near future. Also, thanks a lot for the pictures, I will definitely be using them on my website. Have a nice day, Steve My website: www.myspcace.com/soundslikesteveg

It is hard for me to Imagine that what was a dream just 1 year ago, became Roslindale Open Mike! First and foremost our thanks go out to Roslindale Congregational Church for giving us ROM!! My thanks to life-long friend Sam Schneiderman who has sponsored this website and the email address. As SAM of, The Greater Boston Home Team, Is our one and only sponsor!! Thanks Sam!!! Thanks to F.J. Higgins Funeral Home for allowing us use of their large parking lot! Mike and I have been blessed by having the 1 key item so very important for any organization to flourish! That is OUR FOUNDATION! Said Foundation is comprised NOT of Money but of each and every one of YOU! We would love to see the use of this Guest Book as a Forum of constructive thought! To those of you who have come early, to help us set up and have stayed late to help break down! Thanks so much! for all the varied goodies you have brought to ROM in addition to yourselves! You all know who you are! Thanks to our dishwashing folks at the end of our nights which is a huge help to me in trying to get out of there before 2AM! Roslindale Open Mike would NOT be what it is, has been and will be in the future if it was not for the insight, experience and knowledge of my Host and Musical Mentor, All in All, My deepest thanks go out to my friend, Mike Delaney. Mike has helped navigate ROM all year!!! In Mike, I/WE have been blessed with one of the most versatile and energetic Host's I could ever have hoped for!! The one Main thing that I have learned from Mike is that ROM will always need to remain, A work in progress! I thank Mike Delaney for sculpting Roslindale Open Mike into the Venue it is today!!!WE began this joint Venture, from our Love of Music & Fun! Thanks to you Mike and to all that you do! You are the initiator of what ROM is today and will be tomorrow!!! Always, Neal Braverman:)) On to an incredible, ROM 2010.

Lots of talented performers on opening night! It's an ideal venue as well - spacious, comfortable, and without competition to be heard from ice cream blenders or other small appliances.
